At Banana Moon Harlow, we understand the importance of working with our families to settle children into nursery. We will arrange settling-in sessions with the parents for their child, and this will be for the week before the child starts with us. 
The first settling-in session will be a chance for you to meet the team in the room and the child's key person. A settling-in form will be completed between the parent and the key person. This is an opportunity for the team to get to know the family, and lots of communication will take place for us to get to know everything about the child.  

The final two settling-in sessions will take place, and this gives the opportunity for the child to settle and for the team to get to know your child. 

We have daily communication between the team and the parents, and this is through handovers, the Banana Moon parents app and telephone calls. We work closely with parents, and we have an open-door policy for our parents.
