Caterpillar Conga for Action for Children
Monday 20th March 2017
Today we participated in the Caterpillar Conga, the children have been preparing this all week and getting involved in a variety of activities. They worked together as a team to make the giant caterpillar, which is displayed in the corridor. They also have been making their very own masks and hats with their key workers. At snack time we have been looking at the healthy foods the caterpillar ate on his journey. We have also been caring for our very own pet caterpillars at the nursery. We have been watching them turn into a cacoon and hopefully soon beautiful butterflies. During the Giant Wiggle – Caterpillar Conga we used the tunnel to pretend we was a caterpillar moving around the garden. We also used different materials of fabric to use as our wings to fly around the garden. We raised money for Action for Children were all children donated – we raised a wonderful £11 for the charity.
