Introducing the Harlow team!

The Harlow Team

We would like to introduce the staff here at Banana Moon Harlow!

sally-lowin

Sally Lowin – Director.

“Hi, I am a Director for my family business, where I have worked for nearly 20 years. Since having a family of my own, I have always taken an active role in anything my children are involved in. I was treasurer for my son’s pre-school for many years where I met Becky and we decided to embark on this adventure together.  I am very organised, and used to juggling commitments.  As well as work and family,  I run a Netball club which consists of 3 teams in our local league.  I also help my husband with the paperwork side for his First Aid Company.  I am a firm believer in supporting staff.  I will be supporting the nursery mainly off site and dealing with the accounts emails.  I enjoy my weekends either playing netball, or watching my young sons play football and rugby, as well as spending time with family.”

becky-williams

Becky Williams – Director

“Hi, I used to be a management accountant but when I had my family I changed careers to work with children. I studied my level 6 at the University of Herts whilst being an outstanding childminder. I am a big believer in the benefits for children of using signing and outdoor play. I am also an advocate for developing and training staff. I have been heavily involved with pre-schools for many years and have worked to help improve standards at some preschools. I am also a freelance Early Years Inspector. Opening a nursery has been an ambition of mine for many years. I met Sally through our children going to the same pre-school and we were a great team together for five years on the committee.   I also enjoy long walks with my dog, or cooking and reading with my husband and children.”

amie-bratley-cropped2

Amie Bratley – Nursery Manager

“Hello my name is Amie, I hold my Level 3 in Childcare and also Management. I have always had a passion to work with children since a young age, as growing up in a large family with 9 siblings and also having my step mum as a role model who is currently the head teacher for two Primary Schools. I have worked my way up within nurseries and I have a real passion for developing staff and supporting them in their role. I have a big passion for inclusion and making every child feel valued. I have various qualifications to support this, Makaton being one. Teaching children various skills is a big vital part of their development and I plan to support staff to do the same.”

tansia-hussain

Tasnia Hussain – Room Leader

“Hello everybody,  My name is Tasnia and I recently got married to my best friend. Last year I graduated at Middlesex University with an ‘Early Childhood studies Honours’. This is the course that prompted me to further my interest in becoming a children diversity advocate. My aspiration started right at home, as I am a sibling of six. Most of my practice begun at home with my baby sister who is now 5 years of age.”

holly-robinson

Holly Robinson – Nursery Practitioner

“Hello my name is Holly, I am near the end of studying for my Level 3. I have always wanted to work in childcare and plan to study further in the future. I am a bubbly person and I am surrounded by a lovely family. My studies started in school and I completed my Level 2. I then went to Harlow College and did my AS levels; I decided my passion was to work with children so I found a role that I could complete my Level 3 with.”
